What is new
Each live website on your dashboard now has a small view count on its card, like 👁 12 views. It tells you how many different people have opened your link.
- Shown on every live website card in your dashboard
- Updates by itself as new people open your link
- You do not have to turn anything on
Where to see it
- 1
Open your dashboard
Sign in to Wishly and go to your dashboard.
- 2
Find your live website
Look at the card of any website you have published.
- 3
Check the line under the title
You will see the date and a small 👁 view count right there.
- 4
Come back any time
Every time someone new opens your link, the number goes up by one.
How a view is counted
Every device is counted once per website. If the same person opens your link again and again, the number does not keep climbing, so it shows real people instead of repeat opens.
- A new person on a new device counts as one view
- The same device opening your link again does not add another view
- Only published websites are counted
What is not counted
Some things open your link without being a real visitor, and Wishly leaves them out so your number stays honest.
- Link previews made by apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram and Messenger
- Search engine crawlers, bots and automated scripts
Your privacy
To tell devices apart, the browser keeps one random code on the device. It is not a cookie, it holds no name, email or phone number, and it is never used for ads or shared with anyone. Our server stores only a one-way hash of it, never the code itself.
Good to know
- The view count appears on websites created after this update. Older websites do not show it.
- We count devices, not people. If one person opens your link on two different phones or browsers, that can count as two views.
- If someone clears their browser data or opens your link in a private window, it may count as a new device.
Make a website worth opening
The best way to get views is a website that feels personal. Pick a template that matches the moment, add real photos and your own words, then publish and send the link.
